The Telegraph, in partnership with Greener Journeys, is holding a panel discussion on the contribution bus transport makes to the economy by maximising labour market efficiencies, stimulating investment and regeneration and supporting local businesses and retail; as identified in a new report, Buses and Economic Growth by Professor Mackie at the Institute of Transport Studies (ITS) at the University of Leeds. The panel, chaired by Telegraph Business, will include senior representatives from the CBI, Go-Ahead, the consumer watchdog Passenger Focus, and the ITS behind the report.
